**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Epic Manager or designee, carry out various duties in support of business systems and end users including but not limited to: perform analysis of workflow; assessment of system needs and requirements; plan, design, and test systems and interfaces; coordinate work efforts with applicable MIS and organizational personnel; train end-users as needed; document and troubleshoot work involved in systems implementation and maintenance; and act as liaison to all end users. On-call rotation required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge and experience required.
  • Must obtain Epic certification.
  • Experience supporting Epic and/or other healthcare information systems required.
  • Technical/programming experience preferred.
  • PC-based computer skills, spreadsheet and word processing proficiency required.
  • Five (5) years MIS and/or business related experience, including two (2) years in similar and related position required.
  • CPHMIS Certification is preferred.
  • Epic Certifications: HIM Release of Information, HIM Deficiency Tracking, HIM Hospital Coding, Identity

    Other: OnBase and RightFax Admin experience preferred. 3M Admin/software installation experience highly preferred.

  • If the successful candidate does not possess the necessary certifications, they must be obtained within 6 weeks of completing the last Epic class. Other Epic certifications may be required after initial Epic certification.

  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Pay Range

USD $71,177.60 - USD $114,296.00 /Yr.
