Job Summary

The Raychaudhuri Lab at Brigham & Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School invites applicants for the position of bioinformatics analyst, working on analyzing spatial genomics data sets, single cell genomics datasets, and other functional genomic data sets to understand the nature of tissue inflammation in human diseases.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with common bioinformatics approaches to large-scale next generation sequencing data analysis. The role requires strong problem-solving skills as well as the ability to efficiently communicate and interact with collaborators from both immunological and computational backgrounds.


The candidate will be part of the Raychaudhuri lab, and will benefit from a rich intellectual environment with strong immunology, functional genomics and computational biology expertise.

Qualifications

  • Develops bioinformatics pipelines for the Raychaudhuri Lab.
  • Works with the single cell genomics core to conduct single cell analyses. Analyzes data using advanced statistical techniques within the Raychaudhuri Lab Helps to develop methods to analyze large scale data sets for the Raychaudhuri Lab
  • Performs literature searches and helps to prepare presentations and written articles for publication.
  • In collaboration with PI or Research Manager, establishes new and modifies existing research techniques.
  • All other duties as assigned.
