Job Summary
Summary:Responsible for improving experience with Mass General Brigham's EHR and associated clinical IT systems. Will be a leader and change agent, working closely with leaders and clinicians to understand their users' workflows and needs. Responsible for analyzing, developing, documenting, and tracking clinical content. Develop and oversee the completion of project plans and schedules, and track the progress of content development and build, including remediation efforts, enhancement, and demand projects.
Essential Functions:
• Participates in discussions to inform decisions using application knowledge and analysis.
• Documents business requirements and translates those requirements into functional specifications and/or system build/configuration for the software application.
• Participates in peer review for quality assurance of team member build and assists with onboarding & mentoring of new team members.
• Develops and executes test plans and performs other software quality assurance tasks.
• Provides ongoing support for software applications by identifying and resolving issues and escalating them as needed for timely resolution.
• Runs reports, updates tables, and performs other tasks associated with the ongoing operation of the software environment.
• Acts as team delegate/representative at department, project, or other meetings, as assigned.
• Participates as needed in reviewing the training curriculum and end-user
documentation for the application's user community.
• Participate in 24/7 on call coverage rotations as scheduled.
• Participate in 24/7 command center support structure as needed.
• Participate in on site meetings as required.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required

Experience
- Experience in healthcare information technology 3-5 years required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must be able to obtain and maintain required Epic Inpatient Orders certifications as outlined by program requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
- Direct and open communication is able to be concise, articulate, and able to communicate effectively orally and written.
- Experience in the development, support or operation of software applications, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Results-oriented ability to focus on solutions for relevant, concrete issues.
- Proficient with standard office technologies and software.,
