Job Summary

Summary<br>Responsible for the management and utilization of information technology systems and data in clinical settings. This role plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between healthcare providers and technology by implementing and optimizing systems that enhance patient care and outcomes.<br><br>Does this position require Patient Care?<br>No<br><br>Essential Functions<br>-Collaborates with healthcare teams to assess their needs, evaluate existing systems, and implement new clinical informatics solutions. <br>
-Continuously monitors and analyzes the performance of clinical information systems to identify areas for improvement. <br>
-Develops and delivers training programs to healthcare professionals on the effective use of clinical informatics tools and technologies. <br>
-Stays abreast of industry regulations and guidelines related to clinical informatics, privacy, and security. <br>
-Leads clinical informatics projects, including system upgrades, data migrations, and the implementation of new technologies. <br>
-Provides technical support to end-users, including clinicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. <br>
-Collaborates with healthcare professionals, IT staff, administrators, and vendors to ensure effective communication and coordination. <br>
-Collects and analyzes clinical data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for quality improvement. <br>


Qualifications

Education Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? Yes Licenses and Credentials Pharmacist [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred Physical Therapist [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred Physician Assistant [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred Experience Experience in clinical informatics 3-5 years required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Proficient knowledge of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and terminology. - Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, healthcare databases, and clinical informatics applications. - Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools. - Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with varied stakeholders. - Proficient problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
