Job Summary

The Business Analyst participates in designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining software applications. Assists in training and supporting end users. Provides software/application support services and collaborates with users to understand workflows, document requirements, and execute testing.


Essential Functions for Success

-Assists with documenting business requirements and translating them into functional specifications for software applications.
-Assists with developing and executing testing plans and other software quality assurance tasks.
-Provides ongoing support for software applications by identifying and resolving issues, escalating as needed for timely resolution.
-Provides high-quality service to end users according to defined service level agreements.
-Trains and Supports.
-Assist with the documentation of business processes.
-Understand user requirements; assist in translating these into functional requirements.
-Trains end users on software applications and assists with developing end-user documentation.
-Runs reports and performs tasks related to the ongoing operation of the software environment.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or related field of study required

  • Related IT experience, ideally in healthcare IT environment 0-1 year preferred

  • Experience providing end-user support, preferably in a healthcare setting. Problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to document workflows and business processes.

  • Experience in the development, support, or operation of software applications, preferably in a healthcare setting.

  • Ability to learn quickly, Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and other popular office productivity solutions.

  • Proficient interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.
