Job Summary
The Business Analyst participates in designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining software applications. Assists in training and supporting end users. Provides software/application support services and collaborates with users to understand workflows, document requirements, and execute testing.Essential Functions for Success
-Assists with documenting business requirements and translating them into functional specifications for software applications.
-Assists with developing and executing testing plans and other software quality assurance tasks.
-Provides ongoing support for software applications by identifying and resolving issues, escalating as needed for timely resolution.
-Provides high-quality service to end users according to defined service level agreements.
-Trains and Supports.
-Assist with the documentation of business processes.
-Understand user requirements; assist in translating these into functional requirements.
-Trains end users on software applications and assists with developing end-user documentation.
-Runs reports and performs tasks related to the ongoing operation of the software environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or related field of study required
Related IT experience, ideally in healthcare IT environment 0-1 year preferred
Experience providing end-user support, preferably in a healthcare setting. Problem-solving skills.
Ability to document workflows and business processes.
Experience in the development, support, or operation of software applications, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Ability to learn quickly, Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and other popular office productivity solutions.
Proficient interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.
