Job Summary
This position is responsible for revenue analytics, and calculating the financial impact of Revenue Integrity initiatives. Develops, analyzes, and maintains pricing strategies and models for the organization. This involves evaluating cost structures, market conditions, and reimbursement methodologies to ensure competitive and compliant pricing.Essential Functions:
- Responsible for strategic pricing analysis, including calculating the gross and net revenue impact associated with price changes and conducting what-if scenarios to evaluate various pricing models.
- Develop and maintain Charge Description Master (CDM) pricing models and analytics that incorporate enterprise strategies and relevant data points (including market differentiation, competitive market prices, cost, payment, etc.).
- Provide analytic support for the development of hospital CDM pricing (Epic fee) schedules by assessing and recommending pricing.
Evaluate the estimated budget impact of recommended and implemented pricing.
- Contribute presentation materials to inform and facilitate leadership decision-making, setting the context of discussion, analytic findings, options, and recommendations.
- Serve as an administrator for the CDM software, including maintaining users, reporting, and performing data reconciliation.
- Provide information needed to identify fluctuations in revenue and collaborate with Revenue Integrity team members, clinical departments, and other key stakeholders to investigate variances.
- Prepare annual charge master change notifications to insurers per contractual requirements by acquiring all necessary inputs from various hospitals in a timely manner and accurately updating charge based rates in alignment with reported changes.
- Develop, maintain, and implement Pricing and CDM Management policies, procedures, and training materials.

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree required with concentration in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field of study
Experience
3-5 years of experience required in pricing analysis, financial analysis, or revenue management or related areas
2-3 years of experience in a healthcare or hospital setting required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
Proficiency in financial modeling, cost analysis, and understanding healthcare market research.
Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial analysis, relational database and business intelligence tools, and relevant software (e.g., SQL, Enterprise Resource Planning systems, CDM tools).
Understanding of healthcare reimbursement models, payer contracts, and regulatory requirements.
Organizational and project management skills, demonstrated ability to manage concurrent projects and deadlines
Customer service commitment, building and maintaining effective working relationships, anticipating needs by viewing work from customer perspective
