Job Summary

The Opportunity

Mass General Brigham is a world-renowned academic healthcare delivery system dedicated to enhancing patient care, driving research innovations, and fostering community impact. As a part of our commitment to developing emerging talent, we are offering a Summer College Internship for a student interested in healthcare administration, digital research operations, and program coordination.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating administrative procedures and processes to support digital and research operations.
• Provide support for meetings, including preparing materials and managing schedules.
• Maintain and organize project databases, compile data, and generate reports to support decision-making.
• Support research operations, including observing intake management, project coordination, and digital experience improvements.
• Contribute to the development of a large website redesign project termed the research portal, a single-entry point for researchers to access information and support.
• Assist in preparing compliance documentation and tracking research projects in Workfront, an MGB enterprise system.
• Participate in quality improvement projects, analyzing existing processes and recommending modifications.
• Engage in outreach and education efforts, ensuring researchers and program staff are aware of available resources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance program efficiency and contribute to digital transformation initiatives.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

  • Current enrollment required in an undergraduate program, preferably in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Public Health, Information Technology, or a related field.

Skills for Success

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other web-based applications.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage with various stakeholders.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams while also managing independent tasks.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Interest in healthcare, digital transformation, and research operations.

Working Conditions

  • M-F Eastern business hours. up to 40 hours per week starting June 2 to August 8, 2025

  • Onsite working model as needed weekly for events at AR and Local MGB sites up to 3 times per week onsite

  • Remote working days require stable, secure, quiet, compliant working station
