Description

Reporting to the Principal Investigator, AI Software Developer/Data Scientist will investigate and develop deep learning approach for medical imaging quantification, AI Data Analysis, particularly for medical imaging applications such as Neurofibromatosis tumor segmentation and diagnosis prediction and connecting tools to OHIF (Open Health Imaging Foundation web viewer platform).

· Investigate various deep learning models such as UNet, ONet etc. to create an AI Imaging Quantification platform:

o Implements UNet , ONet, etc. (method for Neurofibromatosis quantification, brain tumor and other tumors

§ Augmentation of data training

§ Optimize Cost functions.

§ Ensemble Strategy to integrate the predictions.

§ Post process and Tests AI software

· Develop these various deep learning methods on the 3DQI research platform and OHIF (Open Health Imaging Foundation) for various medical imaging quantification research projects including on-going radiomics and AI programming.

Qualifications

· Strong background in mathematics, statistics and imaging analysis

· In depth knowledge of anatomy and neuroscience

· Data Science and Imaging analysis programing capability

· Software Development – C++, Python, Java, and R, OpenGL, QT

Education: Master’s Degree required; Doctoral Degree preferred.

Experience:

Required: Strong mathematics and statistics background; in depth knowledge of anatomy and neuroscience, 3+ years of data science and programming experience; AI programming and imaging analysis experience; programing experience using C++, python, R and QT;

Preferred: Experience with Open GL, Java and Java script
