Mass General Brigham Home Care serves patients from rehabilitation after illness or injury, to chronic disease management. Qualifications

This is a part time position working 20 hours a week.

Job Summary
Provide daily coordination of assigned clinical information system tasks as it pertains to the design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of new and existing clinical computer programs. Provide education and support to Point of Care Users and others in individual and group settings.

Key Activities
• Clinical information system programs are maintained, upgraded and evaluated
• Upgrades and adaptations of information system is operationalized
• Projects associated with testing, upgrades and implementation of the clinical computer programs are managed.
• Integration of hardware and software is maintained in collaboration with IS staff
• Supervise Computer Clinical Team Assistant(s) in a regional hub

Qualifications and Experience
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience required; home care experience desirable
• Current clinical license in Massachusetts - nursing or physical/occupational/speech therapist
• Bachelor’s degree in health care discipline preferred
• 2 years information systems or related experience required; healthcare setting preferred
• In-depth experience of Medicare regulations and guidelines
• Knowledge of Medicare Conditions of participation, documentation, and case management.
• Strong computer skills including word processing, database, and ability to learn other software applications
• Travel required within the PHC geographic regions
• Prior training or education experience with adult learners desirable
• Strong verbal, electronic and written communications skills
• Must be able to organize and prioritize work
• Strong relationship-building skills with ability to work with a diverse population
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills and ability to demonstrate patience and understanding
• Ability to work independently with strong follow-through skills
• Operate with integrity, possess a style that is ethical, honest and objective
