Reporting to the Manager, Intelligent Automation, the Sr Solution Architect is responsible for designing efficient, resilient, scalable, secure, and reusable unattended robotic process automation (RPA) solutions that adhere to solution design best practices and support Intelligent Automation efforts across MGB teams / departments.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as Sr Solution Architect for the Intelligent Automation team
Participate in RPA solution design process working collaboratively with internal and external teams
Support creation and maintenance of development standards such as base RPA code that can be modularized and reused, RPA ecosystem, data flow, integration and conceptual diagrams, process flows and mockups
Foster and manage a pipeline of automations to be developed by Developers
Maintain technical expertise in 1 or 2 core technical domains (i.e., RPA process development, workflow optimization, code review) and support cross-functional teams to design and deliver solutions to customers effectively
Analyze effectiveness of existing technical and business solutions; develop and implement strategies to improve those solutions
Support new technology requests and assessments by leveraging guiding principle to leverage existing platforms and reusing existing solutions where possible
Collaborate with internal technical and business resources to share best practices, evolve processes, and receive expertise as the need arises for various opportunities
Provide ad-hoc technical support to end users when issues arise that are escalated beyond standard support processes

Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

· Hybrid office and remote work schedule, requires occasional local travel to MGB sites, vendors, and/or conferences

· Hospital work environment working conditions include possible exposure to diseases or infections and may require safety gear (PPE) such as gloves and mask.

· Normal office working conditions. The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderate.

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk; or hear; use hands to finger; handle; or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop; kneel; or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and depth perception

Qualifications

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Engineering or equivalent subjects.
· A minimum of 3-5 years professional experience in Healthcare IT or similar technology field, experience working as RPA Solution Architect or participating in the design, development and implementation of new solutions and applications preferred.
· Proven development experience using Power Automate and Blue Prism preferred
· A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements

Skills/Abilities/Competencies:
· Superior communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with non-technical individuals and crystallize insights stakeholders themselves may not be able to effectively articulate
· Ability to learn quickly new processes, being able to understand key outcomes and define KPIs with stakeholders
· Proven experience drafting business cases for innovation initiatives
· Proven collaboration skills along with the ability to influence without authority
· Prior experience with Scaled Agile and Lean Agile Principles as well as subject matter expertise in modern solution design
· Functional knowledge of implementing solutions within BluePrism, PowerPlatform, UiPath, Automation Anywhere or other RPA platform
· Strong familiarity with data structures, relational databases, and cloud infrastructure
· Thorough, detail-oriented, and organized with the ability to prioritize
· Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with an ability to negotiate and trade-off technology options against goals & cost
· Knowledge of Agile approaches to software development and able to put key Agile principles into practice to deliver solution incrementally
· Demonstrated ability to easily deal with both abstract and concrete concepts and be able to reconcile them for the appropriate audience and context preferred
· Proven ability to maintain both a strategic long-term outlook and enterprise perspective, while also supporting tangible, business-driven and IT-delivered solutions.
