We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Business Analyst to join our Azure DevOps team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between IT and business operations, leveraging Azure DevOps to improve processes and drive efficiency. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our software development projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the needs of our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, testing, and operations, to analyze business requirements and develop solutions that balance customer requirements with organizational policies and standards.

This is a technology SME position that requires hands-on process development and implementation within a fast-moving, agile group that interacts with and supports research and development activities in the enterprise. The unifying characteristics of the position are a well-grounded, hands-on understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle including best practices around Software Quality Assurance, an understanding of systems integration and automation, an eagerness to learn quickly, develop robust support models in an agile/flexible manner, and apply new technologies and services. A deep motivation to work with and enable cutting-edge on-prem and cloud-based projects, ability to work independently to meet deadlines, outstanding customer service skills, and the ability to help teams and projects successfully accomplish their objectives is a must. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
· Conduct business process analyses, return on investment (ROI) analyses and needs assessments to align Azure DevOps solutions with business initiatives.

· Work closely with development, testing and operations teams to implement DevOps practices and tools including CI/CD.

· Develop and maintain project dashboards and reports to track progress and performance.

· Collaborate with testing teams to ensure that software solutions meet quality and testing standards.

· Occasionally lead testing efforts for ADO Feature updates and extension validation as well as home grown utilities and workflow automation.

· Create and maintain technical documentation for Azure DevOps processes and best practices.

· Provide demonstrations of Azure DevOps features and workflows to stakeholders.

· Develop and deliver training programs on Azure DevOps tools and methodologies for technical and non-technical staff.

· Manage and document project migrations within ADO as well as from external platforms such as JIRA, GitLab and other.

· This position requires occasional local travel to MGB sites, vendors, and/or conferences

· Hospital work environment working conditions include possible exposure to diseases or infections and may require safety gear (PPE) such as gloves and mask.

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk; or hear; use hands to finger; handle; or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop; kneel; or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and depth perception.

· On-call coverage expected as business needs dictate.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Healthcare, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

· Eight or more years of healthcare information technology experience with knowledge of clinical systems.

· Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, including Azure Boards, Repos, Pipelines, and Test Plans.

· Excellent understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.

· Experience with requirements elicitation, gap analysis, and process modeling.

· Proficiency in using tools like MS Project, Visio, JIRA, and collaboration platforms.

· Strong communication and presentation skills for effective training delivery.

· Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand language for various audiences.

· Epic Certification desired or must obtain Epic training as outlined by program requirement

· A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements

Skills/Abilities/Competencies:
· Certifications in Azure DevOps, Scrum, or ITIL preferred.

· Familiarity with programming concepts and version control systems and scripting languages such as Python and Javascript.

· Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.

· Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g. MS Project, Asana, Jira)

· Experience with cloud-based technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)

· Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins)

· Experience with testing and quality assurance methodologies (e.g. Test-Driven Development, Behavior-Driven Development)
