Dr. Amit Anand, Director of the Brigham and Women's Psychiatry Translational Clinical Trials, is looking for a bioinformatics data analyst to conduct genetic and brain imaging analysis. A bachelors or master’s degree in computer science or mathematics is preferred. Experience in bioinformatics analysis, machine learning and artificial intelligence is desired. High degree of mathematical and programming expertise required. Use of operating systems such as Linux, Unix and Matlab as well as Brain Imaging Analysis software is required. Candidate should be able to use statistical packages such as SPSS, SAS or R to conduct advanced analysis. Other functions would be to coordinate data collection, organization and analysis and preparation of publications and grant applications. Ensure accurate and satisfactory implementation of research protocols and comply with requirements of all regulatory bodies.
