The Opportunity:
Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly motivated individual to design and support rapidly evolving application and platform technologies. The candidate will work with a highly skilled team of engineers that design, administer and support the environment, framework and delivery of application platform solutions.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Administration and support of enterprise-class platform environments
Implement solutions that align with high-availability and disaster recovery requirements
Advanced load-balancing design and configuration for Netscaler platform architectures
Epic Systems deployments for healthcare software web application environments
Build and support cloud technologies for Azure solutions and SaaS integration
Utilize Azure DevOps to collaborate and leverage CI/CD practices
Coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams to ensure stability of the application platforms
Work with Information Security to implement secure policies and security best practices
Assess applications to determine the best platform architecture to implement
Participate in an on-call rotation to support systems 24x7
Qualifications
· Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline required.
· Minimum of 3 years of technical experience in the capacity of cloud technologies and application platform services
Skills/Abilities/Competencies Required
· Advanced knowledge and experience with web application architectures
· Load-balancing concepts and knowledge of Netscaler configurations
· Internet architecture components (i.e. API’s, load-balancing, cloud environments, network and security)
· Container solutions – AKS, OpenShift
· Scripting knowledge – PowerShell, .NET, YAML
· Knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and environment
· Working knowledge of .NET application architecture (development experience is well regarded)
· Strong commitment to customer service
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to multitask and prioritize work requirements
