This senior Technology Role is Responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of database systems, to ensure the performance, integrity, availability and security of the databases. This includes planning, design, and deployment of new database applications, managing database infrastructure, developing database disaster recovery plan, server maintenance, and monitor and maintain system health.Job Description:
2. Manage and support Database Operations, High Availability, Disaster Recovery and Security.
3. Implement Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, and database systems health checks procedures.
4. Manage databases and servers maintenance and patching.
5. Maintains performance measurement utilities, which support analysis of real time workload, response time and availability, as well as historical data for trend analysis and capacity management.
6. Works with technical staff to deploy database software new releases and upgrades as well as managing the physical structure of the database subsystem.
7. Participates in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure database efficiency and maintenance consistent with company guidelines, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
8. Collaborates with management and personnel from server, storage, and application support teams, as well as other groups within Information System and the medical center.
9. Manage and support database infrastructure, server deployment and configuration.
10. Mentors other Junior Data Management Operations Admin's in the team and guide them on best practices and policies.
Required Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or GED
2. 7+ years of related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. BE, B-Tech.
2. Experience in a Healthcare provider setting.
